Fort Myers announced that the Frontier Airlines will cover six new routes from the Florida city on Tuesday. Albany, New York, Las Vegas, Phoenix, Portland, Maine, Salt Lake City, and Syracuse, New York are the new destinations of Frontier from Fort Myers.
The one-way introductory fee will be from $49 to $79, from Albany to Phoenix and Salt Lake City respectively. As soon as the new flights will fly, Frontier’s seasonal service between Front Myers and Omaha will resume on November 17 with twice a week flights on Wednesday and Saturday.
Frontier will be the very first flight to offer nonstop services on five of the six new routes and Southwest already offer service between Fort Myers and Albany.
Frontier said it will begin to offer seasonal or year-round service to 23 destinations nonstop from the Southwest Florida (RSW) which serves Fort Myers and nearby places once the new flights start this November.
Frontier says that it will resume its seasonal service between Fort Myers and Omaha on November 17 on Airbus 320 jets with twice-weekly service- Wednesday and Saturday in addition to the new flights.
We took a statement from Jeff Mulder, executive director of the Lee County Port Authority that operates Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW), and he said, “with these new additions, Frontier will offer nonstop service to a total of 23 cities during the busy winter travel season, the more than any airline at RSW.”
